Step 1 (Day 1-2)

Care Guidelines
- Consume drinks at room temperature.

- Dilute freshly made juices with an equal volume of water.
- Use sugar-free or sweetener-based ready-made juices.
- For broths, avoid extra spices and oil.
- Herbal tea should be plain without lemon, sugar, or honey.
- Stop fluid intake during stomach fullness.
- In nausea or vomiting, halt fluid intake, sit upright, and sip slowly.
- After fluid intake, avoid napping or lying down for 30-45 minutes.
Step 2 (Day 3-14)
Continued Consumption
- Follow Step 1 fluid choices.
- Semi-skimmed and lactose-free milk
- Semi-skimmed and lactose-free yoghurt
- Sugar-free puddings
- Plain probiotic yoghurt
- Protein shake
- Soups (low-fat, low-salt, spice as needed)
- Vegetable and fruit mash
Additional Care
- Consume drinks and meals at room temperature, sipping slowly.
- Intake 60-90ml of fluid in 20-30 minutes.
- Ensure fluid intake of 1500-2000ml, including 1000ml of water daily.
- Small portions at 1-2 hour intervals (6-8 meals).
- Avoid oil and extra spices in vegetable mashes.
- Use meat and chicken broth without extra spices.
- Protein intake of a minimum 60g daily.
- Stop fluid intake when feeling full.
- No lying down after fluid consumption for 30-45 minutes.

Step 3 (Day 15-28)

- No fluid intake with meals; consume 30 minutes before or after.
- Fluid intake during one meal: 120-180ml.
